This handbook is written for PhD students, future PhD students and supervisors. The book aims to help students become postgraduates (PhD students) and to help supervisors in their guidance of students. The book is divided into twelve chapters and is easily read. Chapters nine and twelve may seem less relevant to non-British readers. The book deals with several important issues regarding the postgraduate work.
For future PhD students this book is definitely relevant reading and in my opinion it should be mandatory reading for both students and their supervisors. The book could be the common foundation for a good student-supervisor relationship, the importance of which is emphasized several times in “How to get a PhD”.Click here to download the book
